What would you do for Free Food? Cattle Company Antics

Published by lannaxe96 at 7:10 am under Humor, living, restaurants, society Edit This

I had the pleasure of listening to a delightful story of man that tried to get free food by pouring broken glass into his leftover potato skin at the Cattle Company in 1989, from a busboy that worked there when he was 19 years old.

The Cattle Company offered a lovely, intimate setting for couples and families yet, they did receive an unusual stray once in  great while.

On a very special night, a man in his 30’s was dining in one of the small intimate 2-tops in the corner of the restaurant. He was finishing up his steak with baked potato and proceeded to tell his server that there was glass in his food, even after he lad licked the plate clean.

The manager told him, there was no possible way they could have poured glass under the baked potato filling on top of the skin. The man was mysteriously fine with it and proceeded to order dessert.

At this point, the 19 year old busboy was watching the man very closely yet, with his back turned the man ran out of the restaurant and jumped into his car.

The manager ran out after him and stopped him from driving away. The man said he had no money but, he promised that his mommy would drive there and pay the bill.

The moral of the story is that if you ever reach the point at 30 years old that you have to rely on your mommy to pay your bills for you because you are inherently immature and socially irresponsible, I would reconsider changing some sort of aspect of your life so you are never in the embarrassing situation this man was in.

That’s incredible! 30 years old and mommy still paying his bill? I know a man in his 40, and still a mama boy, too!
